Today I wanted to present BLOND-AMSTERDAM works :)

Blond Amsterdam has developed into a collection of products that Femque and Janneke,blond friends work on with much love and passion. Their illustrations and designs are used on earthenware, bed linen, accessories an annually changing stationery line, wishing cards and clothing.

My roomie has whole table service, so I enjoy my cup of tea in one ot those gorgeous mugs every day.

What we do:

We want to bring an alternative to the dreary dropped/suspended ceiling. By using illuminated photpanels that represent a sky (including all types of clouds, blossom, branches of trees etc) OpenCeilings really open up spaces and enclosed interiors. It can be used to change dull office interiors into fresh and creative working environments. Besides that, an OpenCeiling can provide a positive distraction during painful or stressful procedures in hospitals, dentists etc.

We use full-spectrum daylight lighting to illuminate the photos, adding to the illusion of a real skylight. This makes it ideal for interiors with no direct access to sunlight.

Those are white, natural, warm and relaxing spaces.  An easy way to inject some whimsy into your bathroom is by using nontraditional powder room furnishings.  For example, a vintage fireplace mantle, chandelier, chair and some accesories which you can get even in ikea. I also suggest natural sope bars and powder colour towels like pink, green, blue, yellow or simply white.

heatwave_whiteJoris_Laarman_Radiator_A radiator element in an unusual style that can best be named neo-rococo. For heat exchange you need a large surface, and baroque styling provides just that. This heating system consists of one radiator element of about 60×70 centimeters that can be linked together. The curly shape of this element implies that a configuration looks as if it were one object. Modularity is a hidden quality.

American brand Artecnica has launched WirePod, a multi-point electrical “power pod” designed by Joris Laarman.

Joris Laarman’s WirePod is a flexible gray power pod that begins with a three-prong plug and branches out into four curled arms, each with a single three-prong socket. Its arms and body roll and unfurl as needed to adjust for your functional living space.
